Music from the JACK CUMMINGS / GEORGE SIDNEY production VIVA LAS VEGAS
BRAND NEW & SEALED LIMITED EDITION 150 COPIES
The sessions resulted in 12 master recordings besides some alternate movie versions. The movie premiered on May 20th, 1963, throughout the USA. However, there was never a soundtrack LP released for VIVA LAS VEGAS, as was the custom at the time, although there was an Extended Play which flopped. The popularity of Extended Plays had been declining ever since Elvis last put out an EP. Along with the Extended Play, a 45 RPM was also released with the title song of the movie and Ray Charles’ ‘What’d I Say.’.
Now you can enjoy highlights from these recording sessions on this deluxe double album. All of the takes are fully remastered and sound better than ever. The movie versions are speed-corrected and are presented in their original mono sound.
This very limited high-quality 180-gram vinyl edition is available in GOLD or PURPLE vinyl.
All the tracks are also available on the 2 bonus CDs (in cardboard sleeves) that are added to this package.
