The Making of G.I. Blues' New FTD Deluxe set: FTD has announced its up-coming release 'The Making of G.I. Blues' a '65th anniversary' commemorative edition packaged in an individually numbered deluxe collector's slipcase including two hardback books and 5 CDs.
As always it is collaboration by David English and Pål Granlund.
Hopefully released this December, in time for Christmas.
This deluxe set contains.
Book 1 - The Making Of G.I. Blues - The Movie
A hardback coffee table style deluxe book, containing 384 pages with many newly discovered photographs, details on deleted scenes, pages from the script, the shooting schedule, memos, contracts, as well as memories from the cast and crew.
Book 2 - The Making Of G.I. Blues - The Music
Containing 84 pages of photos, documents and detailed session information.
Plus 5 x CDs - featuring for the first time, the complete Elvis Presley soundtrack recording sessions, from the original 3-track tapes to stereo, sequenced in recording order.
