Rockin’ in Trouble- 2LP Red Vinyl +EP

Brand New & Sealed

SR double LP Special Product

Coming soon at the end of November, "Rockin' In Trouble" (SR Records) is an ambitious project that aims to showcase Elvis's rock side from the 1970s. Following "Promised Land" and "Burning Love," we are now focusing on the 1975 rocker "T.R.O.U.B.L.E.," which we believe is Elvis’s last true rock single.
The new SR will include a double LP set, taking us back to Elvis's second tour of 1975, specifically covering the three concerts he performed at the Jackson State Fair Coliseum on June 8th and 9th. Additionally, a bonus 7” EP will be included, which focuses on an analysis of the song. This analysis explores the song's development, first in the studio and then in concert.
This double vinyl set features a Soundboarding recording of three Jackson shows that were previously released on CD. This is the first time they are available on vinyl format, and the recordings have been remastered from the analog mono source, ensuring superior sound quality. The glossy gatefold packaging will include a bonus 30x30 cm glossy photo.
Additionally, the bonus EP vinyl allows listeners to experience an exceptionally clear sound while exploring the evolution of the songs. This set is a must-have for fans!
The SR aims to showcase Elvis at the height of his potential. His March 1975 recording of "T.R.O.U.B.L.E." and the Jackson shows in June 1975 are undoubtedly among the best moments of the year, highlighting him at the peak of his performance. He delivers both an outstanding studio session and remarkable live shows. As suggested by the title “Rockin’ in Trouble,” the performance features Elvis with a reinvigorated rock attitude, fully committed to his craft, even as underlying problems began to surface that would later become challenging to manage.
Just before his Las Vegas season, Elvis voluntarily returned to the studio to work on a new album titled *Today*. The standout track from this session is definitely the song "T.R.O.U.B.L.E." This fast-tempo rocker features an exciting piano duel between David Briggs and Glen D. Hardin. "T.R.O.U.B.L.E." captures the same intense energy that Elvis had rarely shown since his NBC-TV special. It remains a mystery why this remarkable single only reached number 35 on the charts instead of topping them.

We have compiled three shows of Elvis Presley into a double LP set, aiming to create an ideal listening experience featuring his best performances at Jackson. These shows showcase a solid collection of Elvis's classic repertoire, all well-executed. While the range of his performances is extensive, his rocking side is more prominent in this collection. Notable highlights include the rocking trilogy: "Burning Love" from 1972, "Polk Salad Annie" from 1970, and his later single "T:R:O:U:B:L:E," along with the classic "The Wonder of You." These tracks undoubtedly stand out as the highlights of the show.

This new SR Special Product will be housed in a deluxe 300-gram sleeve that includes the double 150-gram vinyl and a Bonus card.
To create a special collector’s item, we will produce 300 copies, each with three different vinyl color variations. All copies will include glossy stickers, be hand-numbered, and sealed individually. Please note: this is a limited set of only 390 hand-numbered copies.
