Elvis At Home In Germany - 10" Blue Vinyl

MEMPHIS MANSION EXCLUSIVE RELEASE – STRICTLY LIMITED TO JUST 300 COPIES WORLDWIDE!

We are delighted to announce another fantastic release from Memphis Mansion – ELVIS PRESLEY: AT HOME IN GERMANY, presented on stunning 10-inch BLUE VINYL in a strictly limited edition of just 300 copies worldwide!

Following the release of the CD edition, produced by Anthony Stuchbury, this beautiful collector’s edition brings Elvis’ fascinating private home recordings from his time serving in the U.S. Army in Germany to vinyl.

A RARE AND INTIMATE GLIMPSE INTO THE PRIVATE WORLD OF ELVIS PRESLEY!

Recorded during 1958 and 1959, while Elvis was stationed in Germany, these remarkable performances capture the King away from the recording studios, the bright lights and the pressures of international superstardom.

Using a reel-to-reel tape recorder during his spare time, Elvis recorded a selection of songs simply for his own enjoyment. The result is a fascinating collection of informal performances, revealing a relaxed, spontaneous and deeply personal side of the world’s greatest entertainer.

These recordings are particularly special because they include early performances of songs Elvis would later record professionally, alongside beautiful interpretations of songs he never officially recorded in the studio.

Among the highlights are Soldier Boy, Danny Boy, Are You Lonesome Tonight, There’s No Tomorrow, The Fool and Mona Lisa.

Expertly restored and enhanced by producer Anthony Stuchbury, these historic recordings have been transformed from their original mono sources into stereo presentations, offering fans a fresh listening experience while preserving the unique atmosphere of the original performances.
