VV 2LP&CD Special Product LIMITED 2LP+CD smoked yellow
To be released at the end of February, Catching A Falling Star (VV Records) will focus on Elvis’ November 1976 tour, featuring a show from November 30, 1976, previously unreleased on vinyl.
This November tour concert has previously been released on CD, but this is the first time on vinyl format with an incredibly superior sound. The vinyl will be accompanied by a CD compilation that combines the best of four shows of the tour, giving us a completely ideal show. A Must-have!
The VV label intends to present Elvis at the peak of his potential. Elvis the Anaheim's final concert of the November 76 tour is undoubtedly one of the best moments of Elvis in 1976, presenting him at the top of his possibilities and delivering a great show. If Rock is an attitude, then the man still has it. The performances are very good, and the show is surely the best of the tour.
Elvis sings and is still very active on the stage He performs a dynamic show, presenting all the best of his repertoire from the previous years combined with the last 1976 single Hurt, and reintroducing accompanying himself with the guitar at the end of the show the Christmas classic “Blue Christmas” and the first single “That’s all Right Mama” ranging in all musical genres as only he can do.
We are happy to be able to combine the great performance with great audio quality and overall a great bonus CD to be able to obtain a result that you can enjoy too.
The show is great and now consists of a solid collection of high-quality songs, all well-performed. Elvis’ performance range is extensive. We go from the oldies rocking with the two classics, Love Me and Jailhouse Rock, to the power pop Bridge Over Troubled Water, without forgetting the sensitive Hawaiian Wedding Song and the autobiographical You Gave Me a Mountain, ending with the magnificent Polk Salad Annie. the enthusiasm that shines through the show is undeniable, the scream of a woman “Here He Comes” at the beginning of See See Rider in the bonus cd is worth the price of the ticket.
This new VV special Product will be housed in a deluxe 300 grams Gatefold sleeve that includes
together the two 150-gram vinyl’s and a Bonus CD.
To be a special collector’s item, the 500 copies will be presented with TWO different vinyl colour variations. All the copies will come with Glossy Stickers hand-numbered and individually sealed. Please remember!! This is a LIMITED HAND NUMBERED set of 500 COPIES.
